Deciding runway walk under the motto of “Big Hair”
In the 13th episode of the current series, “Germany’s next Topmodel” surprised its viewers with the motto of “Big Hair”, sending the remaining GNTM models on a hair-related deciding runway walk. Great Lengths made a significant contribution to the execution of the stylish catwalk performance. The various products from the world’s leading provider of hair extensions were used to create breathtaking real hair wigs and hair capes that were presented by the models as "hair" fashion creations.
In order to ensure the Great Lengths real hair extensions were staged perfectly, “Germany’s next Topmodel” called on the services of hair stylist Olivier Schawalder from Paris. Thanks to his passion for extravagant hair creations, the hairstylist has managed to make a name for himself within the international fashion and beauty scene. He has managed to create fashion trends working in collaboration with well-established magazines such as “Vogue“, “Harper’s Bazaar“ and “CR Fashion Book“. In terms of styling for “Germany’s next Topmodel“, the high quality and diversity of the real hair collection enabled the hair stylist to let his creative impulses run free: “When I held the Great Lengths products in my hands, I decided to ditch my planned design and allow the quality of the hair and wonderful diversity of color to inspire me.” By combining different colors, lengths and structures, Olivier Schawalder managed to create unique wig and cape compositions involving multi-faceted shades and unusual shapes.
High fashion head of hair
Heidi’s girls managed to pull off a truly spectacular catwalk performance with their hair-related fashion look. Anita Lafer, Managing Director of Great Lengths, welcomed back the relationship with the popular channel: “It gives me great pleasure to see our real hair extensions being used in the current series of “Germany’s next Topmodel“. The outstanding styling creations that have been produced as part of the creative process are reflective of the incredible diversity of our hairstyling range“.
